How to Throw the Best SuperBowl Party!

A Super Bowl party is not your average party! Our team has some suggestions to help you get ready to throw the best Super Bowl party of all time!

How to Start
1. Inviting people
  • Although this step may sound easy, it can sometimes be a little difficult. It is very tempting to invite just about everyone to your party but a crammed Super Bowl party is never fun. Before you invite ask yourself these questions: how much space do I have? how many people can I fit?
  • Confirm with your priority guests whether they can or cannot make it to your party.
  • Remember to invite a clean up crew- Don’t limit your guest list to just those who like football, non-football fans can be very helpful during clean up time.

2. Cleaning and Arranging
  • Even if you're throwing a complete informal gathering with your family, your house needs to be clean because it will create more space for your guests to roam freely.
  • Designate a place close to the door, where your guests will be able to drop off their coats and be able to easily retrieve them after the party is over.
  • Haven’t moved your couches since you first moved in? Get ready to move them today. Re-arranging your furniture will be extremely helpful since you want all of your guests to have comfortable access to the TV.
  • Remember to make sure you have plenty of paper towels around and enough supplies in the bathroom.

3. Decorate
  • Decorations always liven up people’s spirit, so if you want your house to be booming in football spirt then decorate away. (Keep in mind to be considerate of those guests who may not support the team you are rooting for.)

Feeding your Guests
1. Food
  • If you want to have an amazing Super Bowl Party make sure you have the best food and never run out of it. Snacks are great but they are usually never enough so make sure you also have plenty of foods that are filling, and can be picked up and carried over to wherever the person is sitting such as burgers, hot dogs, pizzas, and deli sandwiches.
  • Lay out a wide array of snacks all over the room where people can access them easily at all times. Remember don't forget to tend to empty bowls, people do not like saying they want more snacks, so when you see you're running low, it's time to re-fill.
2. Drinks! Drinks ! Drinks!
  • Nobody likes to eat without a drink so make sure you have a well-stocked bar with just as much drinks as you have food. Beer is the best choice, so try to get various brands for your guests.
  • Don’t forget to cater to non-drinkers and non-beer drinkers: Keep around a few bottles of other drinks and wines to make sure your guests never feel uncomfortable.

At the Party
1. Keep your guests engaged
  • Keeping your guests engaged will enliven the party so get creative! Perhaps get your guests flags so they can throw them on important plays or maybe even make bets. Bets are always a fun and competitive way to enliven the mood.
 Say Thank you!
Remember the Super Bowl comes once a year and it’s worthwhile to put all your efforts into making it special for yourself, your friends and your family! We hope you found these tips useful and have an amazing Super Bowl party!
