Weekend Roundup!

Rain and snow can't keep New Yorker's off their feet so why would we? Put on those winter boots and check out this weekend's roundup of cool events for you and your family all over the five boroughs. There's never a dull day in New York City, and were here to help remind you.

All Weekend


When: February 4th- August 14th
Where:– East Harlem
Marvel at classic graffiti in the Museum of the City of New York's brand-new exhibit of Martin Wong. The exhibition City as Canvas:  includes over 150 works on canvas and photographs of graffiti writing long erased from subways from various artists such as, Keith Haring, Lee Quiñones, LADY PINK, and FUTURA 2000. These artist were spawned a worldwide phenomenon, altering music, fashion, and popular culture. 

When: February 7th- February 27th
Where:– Midtown West
Head to the New Victory historic 499-seat, jewel box theater to catch Cedella Marley's picture book 'Bob Marley's Three Little Birds' come to life. Her story about a perpetually nervous little boy features classic songs by her father. This musical is not only a wonderful way to introduce your kids to incredible music, it is a great way to spread his message about love and peace.


What: Feast for The Beatles Fans

Where:Grand Hyatt
On the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four, the Public Library for the Performing Arts and the Grammy Museum showcase will be presenting famous recordings, videos and photos of some of the best musicians, in the history of music-- The Beatles.

What:Olympic Fest at Sky Rink

Where: – Chelsea
Dive into the Winter Olympics spirit with, Chelsea Piers. Join for an all-day event of cool skating exhibits, a hockey tournament, free general skating raffles and with live coverage of the game from Sochi you won't have to miss a thing.
Where:Greenwich Village
Explore the Drawing Center's new exhibit Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity and learn about art's intimate settings. Before you know it you and your family will be drawing in no-time. What:Seal Exploration 

Where:– The Bronx
Just steps from the coast of New York City you could have the opportunity to see beautiful seals frolicking off with the help of an Urban Park Ranger from Orchard Beach Nature Center in Pelham Bay Park. Bring your own binoculars and you and your family will never forget about this beautiful sight!

What: Hip Tot Music Fest: AudraRox 
Where:– Gowanus
Like music? Catch this local songstress and her band perform at their Valentine's Day-themed concert. With crafts, giveaways and a reading of Down in the Subway by Brooklyn author-illustrator Melanie Hope Greenberg you and your family will not want to miss this!

Release you inner artist and take an art class with the founder of The Art Studio New York, Rebecca Schweiger. Her team of passionate talented artists and instructors, have inspired hundreds all over New York City and have helped them tap into their creative sides.
