Immerse yourself in India Culture this year with the annual India Day Parade. The parade will begin at Madison Avenue and East 38th Street and end on Madison and East 27th Street. The 2014 New York India Day Parade features a food court, merchandise booths, live performances, and much more, offering guests a chance to experience Indian culture in various ways.

NYC Poetry Festival


Saturday July 26th & Sunday July 27th

Get ready for a jam packed weekend of poetry because The New York City Poetry Festival at Governors Island is back and ready to bring New Yorkers what they love-- art, food and poetry. This year the Poetry Society of New York has organized an incredible lineup including, Mark Doty, Matthea Harvey, and Ben Lerne. We encourage you to bring a blanket, sunscreen, and water as there is no water fountains nearby. The venue opens at 11:00AM and the first act begins at 11:30AM, so to avoid lines we recommend that you arrive by 10:30AM. We truly hope that you give the Poetry Festival at Governors Island a chance!

A reminder that Governors Island is accessible by two ferries, one leaving from 10 South Street and the other leaving from Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. We would be honored to accompany you and your guest to any of these locations!

Event Recap: #Summerize Beauty Event


GoGreenRide was excited to transport special guests to the #Summerize Beauty event hosted by Schweiger Dermatology. The event took place Tuesday June 25th at Schweiger Dermatology's Clear Clinic in New York City.  The night kicked off with free skin consultations by Schweiger Dermatologists. Monique Olivares described the many ways to protect your skin from the sun and gave everyone a tip on how to fight aging: Sunscreen. Jane MacKinnon, on the other hand, touched on how to keep your skin fresh and vibrant. Guests also had the opportunity to receive dry hair styling by EVA NYC and makeup touchups by Janine Just Inc. and NARS. Check out more pictures to this eventful night via this link.

Event Recap: The Inventors Garage

























GoGreenRide was excited to transport special guests to The Inventors Garage for the official launch of .Bk, a Brooklyn-based menswear start-up that releases monthly collections of limited edition lifestyle apparel. The event took place Tuesday June. 3rd at Chelsea Market. 200 founders in tech, design and media, as well as press, were invited for this unique experience designed to inspire innovation, collaboration & creative entrepreneurship. This year, St. Patty's Day falls on Monday, March 17 but the festivities begin this upcoming weekend with celebrations for families and for singles. Below we have compiled a list of just a few of the ways you could spend your St.Patty's Day!


St. Patrick's Day Parades

Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade – The Bronx – Sunday, March 16 at noon
The 16th annual Throggs Neck Benevolent Association's celebration is back and is kicking off this year's celebration with mass at St. Benedict's Church followed by a complimentary breakfast and a parade around the Bronx neighborhood.
Brooklyn St. Patrick's Day Parade – Park Slope – Saturday, March 16 at 1pm
Head down to Prospect Park West for the 39th annual Brooklyn St.Patrick's Day Parade. Expect to March from 15th Street & Prospect Park West to 7th Avenue, Garfield Place and back! It's going to be one hell of a March so bring on down your best sneakers.
NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade – Manhattan– March 17 at 11am
Beginning at Fifth Avenue and 44th Street Manhattan's procession is the biggest and oldest St. Patrick’s Day Parade of all time, full of pomp, green pride, and millions of spectators, this parade is not one you want to miss.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with NYC's legendary Irish rock band Black 47 on their farewell tour. Featuring Irish dancers and other special guests this show is not one you want to miss!


Spend the day checking out great Irish bands, learning more about the history of the Irish people in New York, or attending a lesson in Irish storytelling.
