An Eco-Twist on Valentine's Day Gifts!

Valentine's Day is upon us, and what better way to celebrate and bring on the love than to give your loved ones creative eco-friendly gifts! We have compiled some suggestions to leave your loved ones in for a surprise.

Surprise Your Loved One With Eco-Friendly Jewelry

Many are aware of the social and environmental issues surrounding jewelry, so many outlets have dedicated their efforts to improving the ramifications. Brilliant Earth, for instance, only uses recycled gold and platinum that comes from secondary sources. It is then re-refined to ensure that they are identical in quality to newly mined metals.

Give Eco-Friendly Chocolate

Many companies are committed to reducing unsustainable farming methods and demonstrate their commitment firmly. Sellers like the Fat Turkey Chocolate CompanyRaw Chocolate Love and Lulu’s Chocolate are all eco-friendly and organic chocolate that is not only good for the Earth but for your palate!

Send Flowers

With Organic Bouquet and their eco-friendly, organic flowers, you'll not only give the gift of beauty, you will contribute to partner's like the USDA, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, while helping improve the lives of farm workers and the local floral community.

Plant a Tree

Romantically say 'I love you' by planting a tree with your loved one this Valentine's Day. Let the tree’s life symbolize your life of your love. Watch the tree start as just a sapling, until it blooms and gains strength just like a relationship does. Your tree will be an ongoing reminder of your love.

Make Your Own Bath Products

Does your special someone love bath products? Well, you're in luck. SoapBox makes organic soap bars, free from parabens, sodium laurel sulfate, and preservatives, plus for every soap purchased, SoapBox sends a second bar to a child in need. They wish to improve your Valentine's Day gift search while providing soap in order to prevent the spread of disease and improve global health.
