Little Neck-Douglaston parade in Queens is the largest and starts at Northern
Boulevard and Alameda Avenue. Or join the Brooklyn’s Memorial Day Parade
lead by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Parade kicks off at 11 AM
on 87th Street and Third Ave goes over to John Paul Jones Park,
for a memorial service that includes a Flag Raising, Playing of
Taps and a 21 gun-salute by Soldiers from the US Army Fort Hamilton Garrison.

Tour through Central Park this weekend and see how the park remembers the
veterans.
The
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum hosts its annual Memorial Day
commemoration ceremony in honor of the men and women who died serving the
United States. The ceremony will include the unfurling of a 100-foot American
flag, a three-volley rifle salute and the playing of Echo Taps.
